From our Leaders
Thank-you for visiting New Life Christian Center’s (NLCC) web site. We consider it an awesome privilege to serve in leadership here. For your information, NLCC is a community church without any official affiliation with a denominational organization. We are an evangelical, protestant fellowship as to our doctrinal views and have folks from a wide variety of denominational backgrounds worshiping with us. In fact, whatever your spiritual background (or lack of spiritual background) might be, we would welcome you to visit us and learn about the God of the Bible. Please don’t take our non-denominational status as some sort of a condemnation of all denominations. We have expressed many times around here that whenever you put a name over the door of a local fellowship, at the very least you’ve created a denomination of one. The fact is, we here at NLCC have great relationships with some denominational churches and we cherish our Christian friends who worship there.
Here at NLCC we believe that our worship of God should be spiritual, inspirational and also fruitful. By this we mean that we’re not overly structured. We remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship. Our services are designed to learn from the Bible about how to know God and how to bring Him glory. We’re also convinced that when we see the evidence of Him working in our lives, it is the supreme manifestation that we have truly been worshiping Him. We sincerely believe an intimate friendship with God is available to each person. The peace and abundant life this brings is possible as we accept the love, forgiveness and lordship He offers through Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son. This is truly “New Life!”
Finally, we’re a multi-generational church family. Each age group is cherished and encouraged to interact with each other. We also have age-appropriate activities. Check out our ministries elsewhere on this site. We think you’ll agree that we’re not too busy to encourage our families to be families, and yet we have enough going on to minister effectively to our church family. Once again, thanks for visiting this site and if you have any questions, feel free to call our office.
