At NLCC we have an active and exciting, outreach-centered youth group that meets every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm. I strongly believe that young people can and need to stand up and make a difference where they are planted NOW, not ten years from now, or when they graduate, right now. In 1 Timothy 4:12 the Bible tells us that young people are to "set an example in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." That is our goal and mandate at NLCC Youth. We reach out, play hard and pray hard with Jesus as our center.

We desire to see students grow in the Lord. With that goal in mind we are a part of many events throughout the year that are designed to disciple and encourage students in the Lord. These events include Winter retreat, Youth conference, weekly youth meetings, White water rafting trips, youth rallies, see you at the pole, and much more.

 

 

As we find in Philemon :6, part of growing in the Lord is sharing your faith. At NLCC Youth we share our faith through community outreach, summer missions, personal evangelism, feeding the homeless at City Gate and more. If we can actually live out the life that the Lord has called us to, sharing our faith will always be a part of our lifestyle.

My wife Stephanie and I have a heart and vision for the youth of Stevens County. We love and pray for them, and can't wait to see them rise up and change their world.
